A demise or a beginning..
the dogs barking in the moonless night,
mourning the inauspiciousness
of the occasion,
& as if to prove the veracity of the intuitive cries,
the wrath poured on the sleeping city
tremors of dancing death erupting
with a vitality of force
of persuasive rays
somersaulting the earth’s core
a graveyard born in such transcience
And as if to enhance the effect
like birthday’s candle burnt many stars;
sometimes, though,
death & disaster can be so fascinating
Nature as if to give finality to its colors ,
one she must have found scarce ,
gave an ultimatum to God ,
which perhaps went unnoticed,
So, it burst out rampant
spilling the red colloid..
Survivors cursing their fate
for their so-called ‘good luck’;
their forsaken dreams, desires…
deserted beloved ones…
eluding acceptance of reality,
the overwhelming grief,
the highest form of renunciation,
a final end to some,
for others, a prelude to a new beginning…
