Air India Express recruits women as a crew members for its Chennai- Singapore flight

 Air India Express will operate a flight between Chennai and Singapore from 27 July.

The entire crewmembers recruited for the Air India express flight are women,mentioned in a statement of Air India. Captain Chameli Krottapalli recruited as flight commander of this Air India Express and she will be the first woman commander of Air India Express. “The all-women crew flight was in recognition of her achievement”, the statement said. There will be no man, which is first in its kind in India.

Air India express is the budget carrier of Air India. It has 76 pilots.Six out of 76 pilots are women.

This Air Indian flight will operate on the Chennai-Singapore-Chennai sector.
