Airline Bussiness Outlook for 2009 to 2010

Airline business will also be hit hard by the economic turmoil. But in Indonesia it might growth in couple percent next year due to presidential election campaign. Every politic party who join in the campaign tend to make trips to persuaded and gather their follower from the countries.

That’s why Indonesia flag carriers might focus on domestic route and short range international routes. Report said that in this past three years, passenger growing rate was 15% each year. Predicted due to the global financial crisis which causing by low demand for travel through the air, Airliners tend to loose to USD 10 billion next year. The airline business will be better at 2010.

The airliners firm in the world might go to merging, consolidate acquisition and bankrupt. If the firm management is fail in anticipating the market downturn. Lay off workers and unemployed could be as higher as other sector industries.
