Anchorage Daily News: 'Obama For President'

Alaska's biggest newspaper, the Anchorage Daily News, today endorsed Senator Barack Obama, their governor's opponent, in the presidential election. 

Saying that 'few...would argue that [Governor Sarah Palin] is truly ready,' the paper called the possibility of Palin leading the free world 'too risky'.

The Daily News also decries Senator John McCain's 'extreme Republican orthodoxy,' lamenting the loss of his fabled bipartisan 'maverick' approach.
