Boat race prize hiked

Vallam kali literally means boat race in Malayalam.It is the traditional boat race in kerala.Here I am to saying about Kallada boat race, it is conducted in Monroe thuruthu kavathu kadavu Course of Kallada river.

Every race there was a prize, here cash prize  for the  teams winning the kallada boat race have been hiked from this year.A decesion in this correction was taken by the boat race organising committee meeting held at the Government Guest House.The meeting was chaired by Education Minister M.A. Baby who is also local MLA.

As per the decision first prize will be RS. 50,000  2nd prize will beRS.25,000 and the third RS.15,000, Apart from RS.50,00 each will be given bonus.The race was scheduled to take place at the Kallada river on october 9.
