Earthquake hit California

A powerful earthquake hit populated area of south California, which shook the buildings rattled the windows and chandeliers; People came down to streets and started running.  

The magnitude of the quake is 5.4. Initial report says that there are no serious injuries and major damages to infrastructures.

The shock was felt from Los Angeles to San Diego and up to Las Vegas in East—30 after shocks quickly followed and made buildings sway. The center of the earthquake was 29 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles near Chino Hills, a San Bernardino County city of 80,000 built mostly in the early 1990s with the latest in earthquake-resistant technology.

California’s emergency office received scattered report of minor damages to the buildings, water lines and gas lines. Due to this damages some utility services are disrupted

Los Angeles got most damages.There are minor damages throughout the Los Angeles­­—five injuries are also reported from this city.
