Ellen Simonetti, Fired as Flight Attendant Because of Blog

Ellen Simonetti was fired from her job as a flight attendant with Delta earlier this year because of postings she made to her online blog.

Ellen Simonetti posted work stories and photos of herself in her Delta uniform posing suggestively in an empty airplane. Although she never mentioned the company by name, when Delta representatives found her blog, "Queen of Sky: Diary of a Dysfunctional Flight Attendant," she was suspended and then fired. Subsequently, Ellen Simonetti wrote a book documenting her experience. 

Ellen Simonetti currently has a lawsuit filed against Delta and is an activist for bloggers' rights. Her blog is still available online at queenofsky.journalspace.com.
