Epsom NH Storm Causes New Hampshire State of Emergency

Powerful storms ripped through Epsom, NH and surrounding areas today killing one person, damaging hundreds of homes and prompting the governor of New Hampshire to declare a state of emergency.

Around lunchtime, authorities issued a tornado warning in Epsom, NH and many believe that a twister did touch down and damage houses and power lines. Devestating winds and damage consistent with tornados took the life of one Epsom, NH resident. The community set up a shelter in a local school to temporarily house those whose homes were destroyed in today's storm.
