Eve Carson's Killer Demario Atwater Could Face Death Penalty

Eve Carson's killer, Demario Atwater is expected to appear in court today, where a hearing will determine whether or not Demario Atwater will face the death penalty.  Laurence Lovette Junior, who was also convicted in the murder of Eve Carson, is a minor and therefore will not face possible death penalty charges.  

Atwater and Lovette shot Eve Carson 5 times after taking her from her home near Chapel Hill on March 5th.  Police believe the murder was a random act. 

Two weeks ago officials announced the killers would not be brought up on federal charges for Eve Carson's murder, but that might all change as the murder has caught attention from the Attorney General in Greensboro.
