German Woman Alleges Rape in India !

The incident took place On  Sunday when five to six men in a black Scorpio SUV kidnapped the 20-year-old tourist from the parking lot of the Taj in Chandigarh's commercial hub Sector-17.  The men who allegedly abducted a German woman from the Taj hotel took her to a room were they raped her before dropping her nearly 12 hours later. She came for wedding of a Germany-based NRI .  She said that she was taken in the room where she was raped , threatened and beaten badly.  Around 3pm on Sunday, she was released in sector 20 .

Police said " the offical report confirming the rape is still awaited ".  The police are gathering evidence from cctv cameras installed in the hotel.  The police have traced the registration number. of Scorpio SUV to Haryana and trying to find out more details regarding the car's ownership. Sketches of the suspects have been released.  The police are doing all in their power to determine the facts of the matter.
