For the uninitiatied, the United Nations Delegates Lounge is a slice of old school diplomacy: original Corbusier chairs pepper the wall-to-wall carpeting, Die Welt papers wait for reading in the magazine rack and smoking at the bar doesn't raise any eyebrows. 

Only catch? You need a diplomatic escort to make it in the door.  Or to be more precise, in the gate, through security, up the elevators and past the guards.  For now, here's the citizen journalism dispatch from inside the United Nations headquarters, originally streamed live via Qik.com by GroundReport's Rachel Sterne.
