Kerala Tourism website bags World Web Award
The official website of Kerala Tourism - www.keralatourism.org - has won the Net4 PC World Web Award, 2008, instituted by PC World Magazine, in the tourism category.
The second best site in the same category is www.incredibleindia.org of India Tourism and the third place has been bagged by Gujarat Tourism site.
Designed and maintained by Invis Multimedia, the website of Kerala Tourism currently receives around 4 million hits, with over 1,00,000 visitors and 5,00,000 page views a month. The website is currently available in English, Malayalam, Hindi, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
The website is also the first winner of the prestigious Award of Excellence during the period 2000-2001, 2002-2003, 2005-06 instituted by the Government of India.
The E-Newsletter, which is part of Kerala Tourism’s official website, won the 2005 Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Award for the best travel E-Newsletter. The monthly E-Newsletter of Kerala Tourism goes out to around 85,000 subscribers worldwide.
