Lewis Hamilton is the GP Season 2008 World Champion

On 2 November 2008, the Champion for GP season 2008, Formula 1 had emerged and it is non other than Lewis Hamilton of McLaren-Mercedes.

It was a hot race over at Interlagos, Brazil as the race was one antonishing and most exciting one. Felipe Massa of Ferrari claimed the top spot for Brazil Grand Prix 2008, but it was not enough to claim the championship for GP season 2008. Lewis Hamilton finished the race fifth and just won Felipe Massa by just 1 point. Fernando Alonso of Renault claimed the second spot and it have been a run of great result for him for the past few races including the consecutive win over at Singapore and China Grand Prix 2008. Lewis Hamilton nearly gave his season title up when he was at the sixth place with 2 more laps to go. But Lewis Hamilton managed to pass Toyota's Timo Glock eventually and claimed his first ever GP season Champion title and this win made him the youngest ever F1 world champion. This has also ended McLaren 9 year title drought.

After this very deciding race, season second place goes to Felipe Massa and the third to Kimi Raikkonen.
