Maoist candidate elected as vice-chair in CA

A meeting of the Constituent Assembly on Friday has elected Maoist candidate Purna Kumari Subedi as Vice-Chairperson of the CA.

She obtained 346 votes out of 505 while 90 votes were neutral. Rest of the votes were distributed among five other candidates.

Meanwhile a Terai based leader Tripathi has warned of ending political consensus.

She immediately took oath from the Chairperson of the CA.
