Myspace.com Lays an Egg.
When the operators of Myspace.com announced that change was difficult and that it would be some time to iron out the wrinkles in the new look of the site they failed to announce that they were clueless of the havoc that they truly were unleashing upon the 40 million subscribers.
Popular sites such as myspace.com already bombard the users with a load of advertisements presumably to make the site 'free' to subscribers. The great profusion of advertisements is enough to give many users a good reason to quit the site altogether. And advertisements galore are the mainstay of each and every page on the site.
At present the site makes it next to impossible to log-in to your individual account. In the previous version, a log-in prompt would appear on the first page. Now the first page is only filled with an array of advertisements sans a log-in prompt.
To be succinct users are becoming frustrated and just walking away from having to deal with the myriad of distractions when they visit myspace.com, and I for one would agree.
