Phil Bronstein Wins Sharon Stone Custody Battle

Phil Bronstein, the ex-husband of actress Sharon Stone, was granted sole custody of their 8-year-old son, Roan Joseph Bronstein.

The court decision today is a complete backfire for Sharon Stone who appealed a court order trying to gain physical custody of Roan for herself. Instead, a judge ruled that Phil Bronstein can provide a more "structured, stable, secure and consistent home for the child."

Phil Bronstein and Sharon Stone have been divorced since 2004 and, since October 2007 have shared joint legal and physical custody over Roan. Now, Phil Bronstein will have permanent, complete physical custody, barring a change of circumstance, i.e. Bronstein leaves San Francisco where he and Roan now live.
