Ponting has lost his mind get him to a psychiatrist

"Teams that are outclassed in five-day matches and even 50-over games are much more competitive in Twenty20. India offers a good example of this. The shorter the format of the game the more dangerous they become," Ponting said.

"Some of their batsmen, Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni are classic examples, can hurt you more in shorter games."

"I am not as cynical about the game as I once was, but some negatives still nag at me. There is so much luck involved in this shortened form of the game; it's not always going to be the best team that wins. “

"I guess that's true of all sport but it seems to be accentuated here. Little wonder, then, that the tournament has been unpredictable, with many locals stunned that previously unbeaten South Africa was eliminated so comfortably by India," he said.

"After the game, at the captain's media conference, MS Dhoni revealed that he had complained to the umpires about what he called 'harsh' language that I and some other Australian players had reputedly used on the field. “

"I really don't know where he was coming from. The umpires didn't have a problem, match referee Chris Broad didn't have a problem and I wonder whether Dhoni was trying to somehow square the ledger after the controversy that engulfed S Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh in Kochi."

he said Dhoni’s behavior was strange as Chris Broad appreciated him and his team for playing with good spirit.

"I actually sat on the plane right behind Chris Broad, and he made a point of turning around and congratulating me for the way our team approached the game".

Now let me say one thing here, Australians lost the one day series they played against India (The CB series) where there was no need for third final as India managed to win first two finals comfortably and also lost the Test series against India (Border – Gavaskar trophy) 2-0 where there were no signs of Australia’s chances for winning a single match. I should take you people through Twenty20 world cup match against India and Australia, what does he mean by luck??? They managed to pickup only five wickets is that what he is calling luck or the 70 off 38 balls that Yuvraj scored where he hit 5 sixes and five boundaries is he calling that Luck? Or the Aussies where given D/L target? Or was the match reduced to eleven overs??? What does he mean that Indian team was “OUTCLASSED” in test and one day matches if they could win a series against us??? Ohhh if Australians win a series or a tournament it is team effort and skill and if any other country wins it they call it as Luck.
