Potential India-Pak War Looms in the Wake of Mumbai Terror

Mumbai, India (GroundReport) - According to live reports on Indian television, P. Chithambaram, former finance minister of India will replace home minister Shivraj Patel, who stepped down after calls for his resgnation in the aftermath of the Mumbai terror attacks.

In the interim, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will undertake the reponsibilities of the finance minister, cite reports.

Also developing in the news are reports of Indian army troops conducting marching exercises in the Indo-Pak border, signaling a potential cessation to the peace process between the two nations.

There are reports that Pakistan is also building forces at the border.
