Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel Split Up

Today's news from Hollywood is that TV late night host Jimmy Kimmel, 40, and comedian Sarah Silverman, 37, have split after five years of dating. The two garnered attention when they celebrated their five-year anniversary in February by pulling stunts on Kimmel's show about affairs they were having with other people. Chances are they weren't in fact cheating on each other but simply decided to go their separate ways. An unnamed (and therefore unreliable) source said the split was mutual although a spokesperson for the celebrities has not released any details about their split.

Sarah Silverman is an accomplished actress and comedian who hosts her own show on the Comedy Channel called The Sarah Silverman Program. Her older sister, Laura Silverman, is also an actress.

Jimmy Kimmel has been hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live since January 2003.
