Tharu Community Held International Conference in Nepal

The International Conference of Tharu, an ethnic community of Nepal, started in Lumbini on October 18. The conference focuses on developing effective working strategy on channelizing and safeguarding the rights of Tharu community residing in the Terai region of Nepal. Bamdev Gautam, Minister at the Ministry of Home Affairs inaugurated the Conference. The three-day long conference aims to promote the ethnical, traditional, political and ritual rights of Tharu community stated the Organizer,Tharu Kalyankarini Sabha (TKS)
