Three Kohat Police Officials Martyred in Encounter with Proclaimed Offenders

Three Kohat police officials including PASI were martyred while including two SHO’S three police officials were injured in encounter with proclaimed offenders on Thursday. According to press release issued by PRO Kohat police, on a tip off that a proclaimed offender Nusrat Hussain known as Baloo Mian wanted by Kohat police due to his involvement in different heinous crimes is present along with some other outlaws at his residence in Landai Kachai village of Ustarzai Kohat, police had conducted raid on his house, proclaimed offender had launched grenade attack on raiding police officials and fire was opened on police from different directions, PASI Muhammad Kamran, Constable Asgher Mehmood and Constable Musawar Shah were martyred after receiving bullet injuries during the raid while SHO Ustarzai police station Jehangir Khan and SHO Cantt police station  Ibrahimullah and Constable Wahid ur Rehman were injured by splinters of hand grenade thrown at them by outlaws. Injured police officials were immediately shifted to KDA hospital. Proclaimed offender Nusrat Hussain had managed to escape, police commandoes have encircled Landai Kachai area and are searching to arrest the culprits.
