Tutenkhamen doing well in Dallas

Dallas, TX (GroundReport) - Though he's been dead for a long time, 'King Tut' is still doing well in Dallas.

"Tutankhamen and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" recently opened its doors on October 3, at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA).

The exhibition in Dallas follows the success of its prior U.S. and London engagements, said a press release.

Bonnie Pitman, The Eugene McDermott Director of The Dallas Museum of Art said in a statement, "We are thrilled to be opening 'Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs' after more than two years of planning and preparation."

Pitman added, "On behalf of all of us at the Dallas Museum of Art and the City of Dallas, we are extremely pleased to be able to share these exceptional works of ancient Egyptian art with the community we serve and to further reinforce Dallas as an important destination for visitors seeking the best in cultural experiences."
