Zardari to pardon the Indian spy

Lahore: Federal Law & Human rights minister Farooq H Naek met Indian death row prisoner Surbajeet Singh, however, India government made an appeal for clemency for him and the Pakistani minister told the media that this request is under consideration.

He also added that Surbajeet Singh’s case is being reviewed in detail and soon the report will be presented to the president and the decision to pardon him is with the president.

On the other hand, many Pakistani nationals are languishing in the Indian prisons and the cases to be taken up soon, the minister added.
