14 Chitrali youth returned from Afghan Security Forces
14 Chitrali resigned from Afghan Army returned homes.
CHITRAL: 14 More Chitrali youths returned their homes after resigning from Afghan force. According to District Coordination Office Chitral (DCO) Rahmatullah Wazir a large number of Chitrali youths belongs to Pak Afghan border areas have joined Afghanistan Army, Border Police and other paramilitary forces (security forces). These youth belongs to Rumbor, Bumborat, Drosh, Arando etc situated on Pak Afghan border areas. He said that they have relationship across the border. Usually one brother living in Pakistan and other in Afghanistan as well as they have semi culture, language and customaries on both sides. The areas inside of Pakistan is situated on front of Nooristan and Kunar which is center of Taliban. He said that after taking action by home department Khyber Pahtunkhwa they resigned from Afghan forces and returned their homes at Chitral. He said that at present 14 persons reached Chitral and 20 more Chitrali youth will be returned soon from Afghanistan after resigning as security forces personal of Afghanistan. Reasons behind this attempt could not ascertained immediately but some independent sources told this scribe that these youth belongs to a very backward area of Chitral situated on Pak Afghan Border area and there is less ratio of job opportunities and having no facilities and human amenities the areas deprived from modern facilities and have poor literacy ratio . They are being ignored usually in recruitment of Chitral Scouts, Police, Border Police and Pakistan Army. More over some people also alleged that due to corruption and commission mafia trend in appointment these boys are very poor and can,t pay 1 to 2 Lacs as bribe for recruitment so that is why they joined Afghan Army. It seems that these boys joined Afghan Army as protest or for gaining their livelihood.
