Wave of Albanian, Bulgarian and Romanian Beggars Enters Thessaloniki, Greece

Greek authorities in Thessaloniki face a wave of beggars from Bulgaria, Romania and Albania, Greek daily Macedonia reads, quoted by www.focus-fen.net. The main reason is the holidays approaching, when beggars work their way near churches, big shops or cross roads.
Victims of organized crimes, beggars received, after a day of work just a plate of food, while all money go to those coordinating the actions, the Greek daily reads.
According to information received by local authorities, a beggar would get some 300/day during these period.
