March 29, 2009 Bangladesh Association of Kentucky, USA celebrated 2009 Annual Cultural Event
On Saturday, March 28, 2009 Bangladesh Association of Kentucky, USA celebrated 2009 Annual Cultural Event at Kentucky State Universities Bradford Hall Auditorium. The event was combination of Celebrating February 21” (International Mother Language Day), Bangladesh Independence Day and Bengali New Year.
The main idea of the event was to make our next generation of Bangladeshi Americans aware of our culture so that they don't forget our past. The event started by one minute silence to remember the shahids of recent BDR mutiny in pilkhana, Dhaka.
