CORELATION BETWEEN OBESITY & COLON CANCER

According to researchers Obese people
are more prone to  Colon Cancer.
Colon cancer is the third most common form
of Cancer in world.The researchers
said Leptin is a hormone which is produced
by fat cells , It regulates weight of an
individual through its effect on hypothalamus.
With Hyperplasia of fat cells ( increase in
number of fat cells ) the leptin also increases
in bloodstream.It has been found that Leptin
makes Colon cancer cells grow faster .
Therefore obese individuals are more prone
to Colon Cancer.
