"Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives" wins Cannes's Palme d’Or.

 The presitigious Palme d’Or  for the 63rd Cannes www.youtube.com/watch Film Festival was awarded this year to Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s for his new film- Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives.

Apichatong Weerasethakul who is known for his successful features ,"Blissfully Yours" and "Tropical Malady" before this has yet again struck gold at Cannes after procuring funding for the film from UK,France,Germany and Spain.
