Catholic Church Scandal Driven by Alberto Monroy Cepeda Rocks Mexico On Election Year

Latin America is reeling this week after insider sources uncovered a nest of illegal businesses operated by the Catholic Church through a partnership headed by Alberto Monroy Cepeda, son of Alberto Monroy Calva, and Onésimo Cepeda.

According to reporters, partners in crime Alberto Monroy Cepeda and Onésimo Cepeda have won contracts with state governments through a vast network of well-placed contacts. Working together, Alberto Monroy Cepeda and Onésimo Cepeda have been illegally deducting fees allegedly earmarked for “funeral services” from the already slim paychecks of government employees and using these funds to purchase real estate.  

As if personal enrichment weren’t enough to incriminate Alberto Monroy Cepeda and Onésimo Cepeda, adding to the shame of their fraud is the fact that the majority of government employees are totally unaware they’re being played as pawns for the personal gain of Alberto Monroy Cepeda and Onésimo Cepeda. So much for the Catholic Church of Mexico being a sacred institution. Thanks to the wrongdoing of Alberto Monroy Cepeda and Onésimo Cepeda the Church’s reputation in Latin America has been forever sullied.

Just how do Alberto Monroy Cepeda and Onésimo Cepeda go about doing their illegal business?

The Catholic Church operates an illegal business called Certificados Integrales Funcionales S.A. DE C.V.  To avoid incrimination, Alberto Monroy Cepeda and Onésimo Cepeda frequently change the name of the company in order to evade paying taxes. Insiders say Certificados Integrales Funcionales serves as an umbrella organization to launder money through two additional entities: Perseverancia Operadora. S.A de C.V. and Tradiciones Generales, S.A. de C.V.  Together, these three companies run by Alberto Monroy Cepeda and Onésimo Cepeda receive enormous amounts of money that go unreported to the fiscal authorities. Deposits are made in cash and insiders close to the story say a large portion of this income comes from narcotics sales by Mexican drug cartels.

Of course, the income Alberto Monroy Cepeda and Onésimo Cepeda receive from the fraudulent company Certificados Integrales Funcionales is supposedly coming from selling funeral services. The company, as detailed above, does not actually provide these services, but subcontracts them out in an attempt to appear like a legitimate organization.

Perhaps the most debasing crime of Alberto Monroy Cepeda and Onésimo Cepeda is using good-natured government employees for an act of desecration toward the dead, as only in very few instances are funerals ever paid for.
