Ferrari to dominate at Turkish Grand Prix

The Italian squad is all set to make a comeback with the race at the Istanbul Park Circuit. The track, designed by Hermann Tilke, has 14 turns and is 3.3 miles long and is one of the two anti-clockwise circuits. Istanbul track is a fast track and 2/3rd of the distance of the is covered in full throttle. This track favors the car used by the Italians.

The maiden race of Turkish Grand Prix in 2005 was won by Kimi Raikkonen for McLaren and the second placed Montoya gave away the position to Alonso in the late stages by running wide.

The second season at the Turkish GP was marked by revival of the Italian duo with Massa registering the maiden victory while Fernando Alonso and Schumi followed him.

The winners of the two races at Istanbul now line up for the Ferrari and they both have proved themselves but for some technical errors and bad luck eating up their points. The Ferrari car has shown its class in fast tracks earlier this season. The unhealthy competition between the rival drivers is also a plus point for the Ferrari.

Unless the Ferrari duo suffer from another bout of bad luck which has been dogging their races this season, we can see the red flags running high at chequered flag on Sunday at the Turkish Grand Prix.
