Free Ipod Touch with purchase of a MacBook

Apple is offering a special deal for students and faculty through the Apple Education store.  Purchase a new macbook before September 8, 2009 and receive a free Ipod touch, worth $229.

One more thing to note, Apple just upgraded the base white macbook model from a 2.0 GHz processor to 2.13 GHz and the hard drive space from 120GB to 160GB.  This makes the processor slightly more powerful than the aluminum macbook, and matches the hard drive space in the base model of both macbooks.

The new base model for the macbook at $999/$949 for students is probably the best value for dollar Apple has ever offered.
