Full powers to security forces in J&K was given by Mufti Sayeed: Sagar
Srinagar/Sopore, April 25 (Scoop News)- J&K Minister for Rural Development and Panchayats, Ali Mohammad Sagar today said that it was Mufti Mohamamd Sayeed who as Union Home Minister gave full powers to the security forces for dealing with the situation in the
Ali Mohammad Sagar while addressing a largely attended public meeting at Tujer Sharief, Sopore reiterating the government’s resolve that human rights violation in the state will not be tolerated at any cost and the Government has initiated action against those found guilty in such cases.
He said National Conference under the leadership of Sheri-Kashmir, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah had always advocated the cause of Kashmir issue and demanded its settlement through dialogue process adding that we are presently also supporting that the Kashmir issue should be settled between India and Pakistan for lasting peace in the region.
Regarding development scenario of the state, Mr. Sagar said massive development process has been launched across the state. He said Sheri-Kashmir employment package announced recently will benefit large number of unemployed educated youth. He said it is for the first time that such a historical decision has been taken by the present coalition government.
