Grumbling protesters expressed their discontent over the economic downturn and their Beijing-appointed leader Donald Tsang with big slogans writing "I love democracy". 

Government statistics show Hong Kong's jobless rate hits a four-year high to 5.3 percent, and people complained about the government's poor responses to the crisis. 

Democracy has been a bummer to Hong Kong citizens since the city's return as Beijing postponed the universal suffrage to 2017, five years later than the widely demanded 2012. 

On June 4, 150,000 people attended a candlelight vigil in Hong Kong to mourn for the dead in the Tiananmen massacre 20 years ago. 

It was the second march in Hong Kong this year. In January, League of Social Democrats, a pro-democracy political organization held a bicycle parade.
