Hummer's Popularity Plummets
Even before General Motors (GM)can get better and leaner by selling of the Hummer,Saturn and Saab brands other companies ,the buyers have started to show their backs to these once iconic cars
Accoording toa web analytics firm Compete, the number of online shoppers for these brands has declined massively after GM announced its decision of selling them off from its large portfolio .GM expects to close the sale of these three brands by the end of these third quarter .
Incidentally Sturn has been picked up by Penske Automotive Group ,Saab being bagged by a group led by high-end Swedish car maker KoenigseggGroup ,and Hummer by China's Sichuan Tengzong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co. This surely has opened up a window for rivals like Toyota and Ford who can cash in and attract the once once loyal customers of these brands
