Indian Prime Minister inaugurating Kashmir Railway track on October 28



 


 


            Srinagar October 22,(Vijay Kumar Malla) – Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is inaugurating the  Qazigund-Anantnag Rail on October 28, 2009. The chugging of rail in the state was a milestone in the history of state adding that the rail service has given Philip to the state’s economy besides mitigating the problems of people living in far-off areas. 


The Chief Minister personally monitored the speedy progress of all the works going on in the station.


The arrangements are in full swing for the grand inauguration of the track. After linking Qazigund with Anantnag, the railway circuit between Baramulla to Srinagar, Qazigund and Anantnag will be completed and shall be beneficial for lakhs of people travelling daily on these routes.


The Chief Minister personally monitored the speedy progress of all the works going on in the station.


 


Jammu & Kasahmir Chief Minister,Omar Abdullah on Thueresday visited Qazigund Railway Station. He was accompanied by Ministers Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed and Ms. Sakina Itoo, Member Parliament Dr. Mehboob Baig, Advisor to Chief Minister  Mubarak Gul, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Khurshid Ahmad Ganai and other senior level officers. He inspected the site of inauguration  where the  Qazigund-Anantnag Rail is being inaugurates on October 28, 2009 by Prime Minister and UPA Chairperson, Mrs. Sonia Gandhi.


 


Meanwhile Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla said that the dream of UPA, Chairperson, Madam Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh to develop the state as role model will be fulfilled. Both the leaders have soft corner for the people of J&K and have funded liberally in every sector. The Minister said that the government will take necessary steps to overcome the un-employment problem and make every endeavor to upliftment the lot of poor people. He said that the Prime Minister’s Special Package for Kashmiri Migrants will be implemented in letter and spirit and every section of the society will notice affective change in the times to come.


He was addressing a congregation of All Kashmiri Sikh Samiti during his maiden visit to North Kashmir at Baramulla today. The Minister said that the roots of democracy, social and secularism are affirm and every effort would be made to safeguard the composite culture and  nobody will be allowed to disturb the communal harmony.
