Infosys fires 2,100 bottom line employees

Outsource major Infosys Technologies Ltd has fired 2,100 employees across India on the basis of poor performance quarter ended March 2009. This appraisal was conducted for 60,000 employees placed at the bottom of the hierarchy of the company. However, 45,000 trainee employees of Infosys were not included in this appraisal.

This is another shocking outcome of economic slowdown.
