Infosys to Hire 20,000 Candidates?

At a time when the entire world economy is reeling under recession and companies are cutting costs in whatever ways possible including a freeze on fresh recruitments, salary hikes, it is reliably learnt that the Indian I.T. Company, Infosys Technologies would be hiring atleast 20000 candidates this year.

What is more encouraging is the reported news in the media that it would be paying 8% increased salary over the last year's prevalent rate.

If this comes through, it is something for one to relish.
