JK Governor, CM, others express grief over Doda road accident
Jammu, January 16 (Scoop News) – N. N. Vohra, Governor, has expressed grief over the loss of lives in a road accident on Doda-Bhadarwah road today.
In his message, the Governor has conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of all those injured in this tragic accident.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed grief over the loss of human lives in a road accident on Bhaderwah-Doda road.
In his condolence massage to the bereaved, Chief Minister expressed sympathy with them and prayed for peace to the departed souls. He also prayed for early recovery of the injured.
The Chief Minister directed the District Administration and the Health Department for providing all possible medical treatment to the injured.
Minister of State for Industries and Commerce Sajjad Ahmad Kitchloo has expressed sorrow and grief over the road accident on Bhaderwah-Doda road in which precious human lives have been lost and many injured.
Kitchloo in his condolence message expressed sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls. He also asked the District Administration to provide all help to the affected families besides ensuring all possible treatment to the injured.
Minister for R&B, Abdul Majid Wani and Minister of State for Technical Education, Vikar Rasool have expressed deep shock and grief over loss of lives in road accident at Bhalla in Bhaderwah Doda district. .
They have conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for peace of departed souls.
Wani spoke to Deputy Commissioner Doda and asked him to shift seriously injured patients to Government Medical College Jammu for immediate treatment.

The Minister directed concerned health authorities for providing all possible Medicare facilities to the injured for their early recovery.
The state BJP has expressed grief over the tragic accident on Doda-Bhaderwah Road leading to 9 deaths and several injured.
In a press statement, party National Executive Member Dr. Jitendra Singh, while expressing sympathies with the families of those who lost their lives in the accident, blamed the insensitive approach of the coalition government as a result of which such accidents have become a routine matterand more number of deaths are taking place because of road accidents now as compared to militancy related incidents. He also blamed the poor maintennce of the roads, particularly in hilly areas, and over speeding coupled with over loading of the public transport vehicles due to inefficiency of traffic police. He said thar most of the persons in traffic police’s blue vardi are wasted in their deployment for the smooth flow of the VIP vehicles, whereas the sensitive points of roads remain unmanned. He further alleged that the presence of traffic police is more of cosmetic issuing random challans but not checking the irregularities which lead to accidents to such an extent. He also referred to the wrong parkings on the road sides in the Jammu city which has added to traffic hazards and causing risk to even pedestrians, particularly the elderly and children.
According to Police sources that eight persons were killed and 12 others injured when a The ill-fated vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at Bhalla in Doda in Jammu region today.
Sources said that the matador was on its way from Doda to Bhaderwah when it skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge.
