Jonathan Coachman Leaving WWE for ESPN ESPNEWS

Jonathan Coachman, a longtime commentator for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has left the company and is now an anchor for ESPNEWS.

Jonathan Coachman was a commentator and backstage interviewer for WWE's Raw, SmackDown! and Heat programs from 1999 until 2008. During his time with WWE, Coachman used the athleticism he gained as an elite college athlete and wrestled in a number of bouts in 2005.

Jonathan Coachman has mainstream sports broadcast experience as the announcer for the WNBA's New York Liberty and has hosted the studio segment of New York Knicks broadcasts. Earlier this month, Coachman made his debut as an anchor for ESPNEWS, a 24-hour sports news and highlight channel owned by ESPN.
