Kashmir chief accords farewell to staff

Srinagar, April 30 (Scoop News) –Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon accorded farewell to three staff members who attained superannuation today.

The Staff members included Head Assistant, Bashir Ahmed, Head Assistant, Mohammed Hanief Bhat and Chauffeur driver, Mohammed Anwar. The farewell party was also attended by Additional Commissioner Kashmir, Abdul Majid Mir, Assistant Commissioner Central, Mir Tassaduq Hussain, OSD with Div Com, Aamir Ali, Private Secretary, Ghulam Nabi Khanday, Section Officer, Mohammed Sidiq, Saddar Mohasseb, Mushtaq Ahmed, Readers Mohammed Maqbool Sofi and Mohammed Maqbool Ahangar, S.O. Planning Maqsood Ahmed Mahajan, Naazir (Accounts Officer) Ali Mohammed and besides the entire staff posted in Div Com Office were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Samoon appreciated the retiring officials for their dedication and sense of responsibility toward their job. Div Com wished them luck for their future endeavours. He implored the officials present to work with honesty and dedication and redress the affairs of the general public on an expedient basis.

Addl. Commissioner, Asstt Com Central, OSD with Div Com, Reader and SO Planning also spoke on the occasion. The retiring officials were presented with gifts and mementos, as well.
