Sri Lanka Massacare Death Toll Rises To 23

The death toll at the brutal LTTE village massacare in Ampara District of the Eastern Sri Lanka has now risen  to 23 and with 20 others, including children, sustaining serious injuries, Defence Sources said.Those who died and injured due to this attack are mainly Chena Cultivators and their family members according to the sources.

Injured were admiited to the Ampara Hospital. A group of LTTE Cadres stormed in to Karametiya Village in the Ampara District yesteray evening and open fire with small arms to the villagers who are mostly Chena Cultivatores.Karametiya Village is a Sinhalese Village located along with the Bibile-Ampara Main Road in the Eastern province.

Army ,Police and the Special Task Force(STF) are conducting  search operations to caught the attackers.
