Maharoof: We will have a tough time

"There are two difficult teams in the groups and we will have a tough time ahead of us. But I am a Delhi Daredevil too and I am aware of the conditions that exist here (in Delhi) as do a lot of my colleagues who have played in India so often." Said Wayamba all-rounder Farveez Maharoof.

"Yes, we have two very good spinners and some great players who are well aware of what it takes to play in India. We are all geared up and know the enormity of the task at hand."

"Sharing insights is part and parcel of the game. We have a very balanced team with good bowlers and good batsmen, who can do the job for us. We may have certain advantages but in T20 cricket, whoever plays well for three hours will win."

Mahroof has a simple logic: "I think balance is necessary. You got to have a proper way of being aggressive. You have to stay committed and grounded."
