Manchester United in Carling Cup Final

Manchester United defeated Derby County by 4-2 at Old Trafford to secure their place in the Carling Cup final. The hosts were lagging behind when they had lost to the visitors in the first leg of the semi final by 0-1. Goals from Nani, John O'Shea, Carlos Tevez and Cristiano Ronaldo in this semi-final second leg tie booked United's place in the final with a 4-3 aggregate.
