More Sukhoi’s arrived

Indonesia air force received 2 more units of Su-30 with tail number TS-3003 and TS-3004 at Hasanudin AFB, Makassar, South Sulawesi. Another unit will be received in January 2009. The military hasn't announced the certain date delivery date. It needed 10 days to reassemble the planes. Russian sent 14 technicians to help Air Force to reassemble the planes on the hangars.
An-24 ‘Ruslan’ transport airplane transported 2 set airplanes kit at once. This fighter bomber jet purchase contract is totally worth US$ 300 million for additional 3 units SU-30MK2 & 3 SU-27SKM. Before the latest contract signed, Indonesia had made preliminary purchase on 2 SU-27SK & 2 SU-30MK before signing the new variant of sukhoi fighter jets. The airforce admitted that they only able to operate one Su-27 and SU-30 due to sparepart shortage.
Three more remaining of SU-27SK are expected to arrive before 2010. Indonesia was also signed a purchase contract for 17 units of amphibious tanks, BMP-3F. This new contract is worth US$ 50 million. Indonesia earned US$ 1 billion soft loan from Russia for military equipment purchase.
