No Plastic Campaign in HKUST

As part of the “No plastic bags everyday” activity, the No Plastic Campaign on the UST campus is performing in HKUST from April 22nd to April 24th. The aim of this campaign is to show us that we can make a difference to save the Earth by saying "NO" to plastic.

During the Campaign on these 3 days, the following will be implemented:

At All Canteens and Shops:

- No Plastic Bags

- No Styrofoam Boxes

- No Straws

The main objective of this Campaign is to arouse our awareness of our ecological footprint and encourage us to avoid using plastic materials in daily living.

It is estimated that this campaign will help to save about 3,000 plastic bags, 20,000 straws and over 4,000 Styrofoam boxes.

I like this meaningful campaign and the feeling of saying "NO" to plastic and Styrofoam. I hope more people will support this kind of campaign and let us together make the world sustainable.
