Poultry Farmers Association meets Kashmir Chief




 


       Srinagar, March 16 (Scoop News) -   Kashmir Poultry Farmers Association met Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon and submitted a memorandum to him.


        The Association was represented by GM Bhat. It was informed that around 1 lakh poutry birds are imported into the Valley everyday and the Asscoaition claimed that 60% of the requirement is met out of local production. Various difficulties being faced by the poultry farmers were discussed.


 


The Association urged Divisional Commissioner Kashmir to declare Poutry farming as an Industry. Divisional Commissioner assured that the genuine grievances of the poultry farmers would be redressed.
