Proper sound and light are necessary for any TV news

I agree with Angela Grant,a renowned multi media journalist that sound is nearly the most important part of any news video. She suggests that it would be more trouble than it’s worth to use your voice recorder to capture audio. This is because you’ll have to go back in post production and properly sync up the audio with the video. Otherwise you’ll get that poorly-dubbed-Japanese-kungfu-movie effect.You’ve got to spring for a tripod! Nothing says image stabilization better than these three-legged friends (tripod).
Lighting is also important for any news videography. On-camera light is perfect for interviews .According to her,unfortunately, there will be times you can’t use your light or it just isn’t doing much of anything for you. This is why more expensive, higher-quality video cameras are good: They can deal with low light situations much better than consumer-grade gear.
