A Reliance Retail executive mentioned that theirs is the most aggressive offer in the arena with respect to the discounts they have entailed. They have been clinging to this pattern since the last two – three years across their stores. He also mentioned that their offer period lasts for the longest, compared to its counterparts.
Besides tethering with the consumers by offering them the best deals, it also wishes to gain ground by offering them easy access to their store across the country. They intend to open four to five more consumer durable stores by 12August 2012 in order to rack up, comprehending the current active market. Reliance Digital under its new campaign ‘Happiness’ has been offering huge discounts ranging from 15% to 66% on the MRP of products, to its consumers.
The retail segment was experiencing a tough time owing to inflation and sky-high prices. These offers will act as a huge relief to people who were burdened with the exorbitant prices of products.
