Skydivers Set Record Over Mount Everest

A group of skydivers has performed the first parachute jump over the world’s highest peak, the Mount Everest.

According to agency reports, adventurers Holly Budge of England, Windy Smith of New Zealand and Neil Jones of Canada  skydived on Sunday above the Mount Everest.

This is a world record of the free fall from almost 9000 meters of height.

The skydivers admitted that it took almost 15 years for them to plan this successful adventure which cost each of them US$24,000.
According to reports, the skydivers had a minute of free fall in the clouds above the Mount Everest.

The skydivers had used breathing equipment, thicker parachutes and special suits for safety. They had also taken treks in the mountainside to develop their resistance to high altitude difficulties.

The skydiving trip was organized by A British adventure travel company High and Wild organized the events.

Twenty-nine other aspirants registered under the same company are awaiting their turns for skydiving.
