She particularly doesn't like New York, where people always have their Blackberries on and are always in a hurry, while in Spain, "people enjoy life a little bit more. They aren't running around as much as in New York." 

She adores buildings in that European country too, lamenting there are buildings as old as 2000 years old, compared with 17-year-old "historical" building in the States. 

Paltrow, who marries Coldplay's singer Chris Martin in 2003, learned some Spanish when she lived in Spain as an exchange student at age 15. She said she would like to act in her second language, but hasn't found any interesting script yet. 

She also said she wants her two kids, Apple and Moses, to learn Spanish too. 

"Spain has become my second home," she said.
